So long term, I'd realy love it if groups I follow like LoadingReadyRun created official mastodon accounts and posted essentialy all the same notices and info they do on twitter. But would this be a no-no for the rest of mastodon? I hear there is a big no brands/no companies/no advertising thing here, does that extend to things like Twitch and YouTube entities?
@Stoffern You could use an RSS feed to get those kinds of updates instead. I understand the appeal of having everything in one place, but I've found that separating social media from where I get my news/updates has been very good for my mental health, and is actually very convenient.
